We are looking for a full-time Montessori Primary Teacher (3 to 6 years old)

We are looking for someone who is a natural team player, who is enthusiastic and flexible when it comes to responsibilities and tasks. Due to the nature of our preschool, the position is ideal for a Montessori teacher who will thrive in a multi-cultural school that is committed to Dr. Montessori’s philosophy.

The position starts in August 2026 and will require between 30 and 35 hours per week.

What the requirements are:

  • Montessori-trained Teacher (3 to 6 years old)
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Montessori teacher at a Montessori school (required)
  • English mother tongue (preferred)
  • Permit or right to work in Denmark as we cannot provide working visas

What the main responsibilities are:

  • Be a guide in his/her Montessori classroom
  • Be responsible for the conduct of his or her own Montessori classroom, including the maintenance of discipline
  • Maintain a neat, well organised, and attractive learning environment
  • Participate in the admissions process and meet with prospective families
  • Maintain a mature professional relationship with all staff and participate in staff meetings
  • Plan for Parent Relations, including Show Me Nights, parent-teacher meetings, evening information meetings, etc.
  • Prepare observation and yearly-progress reports for all children
  • Assess the needs of the class including materials, furnishings and supplies within the framework of the budgeting process
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities within the preschool

Also, for teacher positions, we only hire Montessori trained teachers with either an AMI or AMS degree. We also require at least 3 years of experience as a Montessori teacher in a full 3-6 (Casa) Montessori environment.
